JW Stone Sales is a stone supplier based in North Yorkshire. They specialize in providing different varieties of new, and reclaimed stone to large scale building projects as well as individuals that need stone for smaller projects.

The client didn’t have a website, but wanted to have a simple website designed that would show prospective clients the kind of services they were able to offer, as well finding their contact details over the internet.

After an initial meeting with the client, we decided to take pictures of all the stone available to purchase in their stone yard, and we also travelled to some of the building projects that the client had supplied the stone for to take some pictures of the finished houses.

After doing this we went away and created an initial design for the client, after some small design changes, the client was pleased and the site was ready to go!

Our Big Blue Sky is a Tent and Tipi hire company, based in Dorset, England.

The client already had an existing website, and was a customer of D9 Hosting (our Web Hosting Company), but they felt that their existing website was looking old and dated, so they contacted us for a quote.

After discussing the requirements with the client, we decided it was best to create the “back end” of the website using a Content Management System so that the client could update the site themselves, from an online admin area when new products become available for hire. We selected WordPress as the CMS to be used, to due it’s easy learning curve for novices and its flexibility when it comes to creating a great looking website.

The website took around 10 days to be completed, and was built from the ground up. The client is delighted with the end results, and is now ready for the summer season to kick in so her Tent hire clients can see her new website!

KMS Electrical is a local business based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. They have been providing electrical services throughout Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire for a number of years, but had never had an online presence.

When the client saw that a number of his competitors were able to rank highly with their websites on Google for search terms like “electricians in Skipton“, the client decided to get in on the action!

After the initial meeting with the client, we drew up a basic specification of what information the client needed on their new website and also a basic outline of the kind of design they were after.

We went away and produced a mock up design for the KMS Electrical site, and despite going down the wrong track with the colour scheme, a design was agreed upon and we began coding the website.

We designed the website to fit in with the rest of the KMS Electrical brand, including existing business cards, fliers and even their electricians van!

Webbers Foresty is a large Forestry firm based in Cumbria. As the company grew, they took on more staff, each skilled in various aspects of Tree Care and Woodland Management.

As part of the companies growth, the client decided that it would be a good idea to have a website that advertised the services they offered and also provided prospective clients with an easy way to find the contact information for the company.

Due to the schedule of the client, we drew up a specification for the website over the phone and we then got to work on the design of the website.

We decided that we would use a Content Management System (CMS) to build the website, as this would allow the client, or a member of the Webbers Forestry staff to update the website in the future should they wish to do so.

After the initial design of the website, the client indicated that they were very pleased with the results, and to go ahead with the coding. This was completed before the deadline, and to the full satisfaction of the client.

Selside Zwartbles is a sheep flock run by two Yorkshire sisters. They breed rare Zwartble Sheep to sell to other dealers as well as to be entered at local Sheep shows.

To be able to better advertise their flock, the client contacted us to get our advice on how best to design a website that would meet their needs and budget. After an initial consultation we were able to come up with a plan of action that suited both parties.

The client had a very specific design in mind with regards to the website, and provided us with a number of drawings which we needed to follow when creating the website.

We were able to follow these sketches and were able to create a website that matched the clients design, leaving the client delighted with their new website.

Woodcliffe Upholstery Ltd specialize in creating bespoke, hand built furniture for both commercial, and domestic clients. Based in Earby, Lancashire, Woodcliffe Upholstery Ltd are one of the UK’s finest furniture manufacturers, with over 80% of their work coming through referrals from past customers!

To help maintain the companies growth, the managing director contacted us to arrange a meeting, as they had decided to go ahead and build a website to showcase their bespoke furniture.

Selside Farm Holiday Cottage is a picturesque holiday cottage located in the small Hamlet of Selside, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

With its close proximity to the Settle to Carlisle railway and sitting in the middle of the Yorkshire 3 peaks, the holiday cottage has always been popular with walkers and sightseers, but with added competition from the big hotel chains in the area, the client decided that they wanted a brand new website creating to help advertise their holiday cottage.

The client had a basic idea of the colour scheme and design to be used on the site, and provided us with a lot of images of the holiday cottage to help us get an idea of what they were after.

After a couple of mock up designs, we arrived at a design that the client was happy with and we proceeded with the coding of the website.

Upon completion of the project, the client expressed their delight at the finished project and also passed our details on to a relative of theirs who was also in need of a new website!
